About the message:
In response to a Republican Governors Association ad that basically accuses him of fraudulently failng to pay taxes, Democrate Jared Polis is oul with an ad accusing GOP candidate Walker Stapleton of "false claims" and "negative ads." It notes that "there was never a time" when Polis didn't pay taxes.
The ad notes Stapleton's support for President Donald Trump and concludes by calling the Republican candidate "Donald Trump's Yes Man."
The ad is incorrect in accusing Stapleton of being behind the negative ads. The RGA is an independent spending group that is prohibited from coordinating with candidates they support. Neither Stapleton nor his campaign had anything to do with the RGA ad on taxes.
