About the message: No doubt about it, this is an attack ad on incumbent Congressman Doug Lamborn by state Sen. Owen Hill. OK, it also takes aim at Darryl Glenn, who is finishing second to Lamborn in some polls.
The mailer characterizes Lamborn and Glenn as "swamp things." But it doesn't mention why one would vote for Hill. It's one of al least two negative mailers sent by Hill's campaign.
Hill and Glenn are two of the four candidates challenging Lamborn in the June 26 Republican primary.
About the messenger: Republican state Sen. Owen Hill is an Air Force veteran who owns a management consulting company.
The messenger's money: Hill raised $424,000 for his congressional race through March 31.
