Message type: mailer
Message tone: contrast
About the message: This mailer from Democratic Congressman Jared Polis responds to what it says are "Cary Kennedy's ugly attacks," although a TV ad and mailers criticizing Polis are from the super PAC Teachers for Kennedy, which is prohibited from coordinating with the candidate.
The mailer cites media accounts that the Teachers for Kennedy ads are misleading and that Gov. John Hickenlooper is disappointed in the ads, which is accurate. And it notes that Polis "has repeatedly voted against (school) vouchers in Congress."
Polis and Kennedy are two of four candidates facing off in the June 26 Democratic gubernatorial primary.
