Message tone: positive
About the message:
This mailer from super PAC Business Opportunity Fund shows Republican state Sen. Beth Martinez Humenik at a bill signing with Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper, and notes that she is "working across the aisle" with Republicans, Democrats and Hickenlooper. It doesn't note that she's a Republican. It's unclear how she "secured $150 million in new funding for schools and teachers," because the mailer doesn't identify any sources. And while it mentions Martinez Humenik's teaching background, she's never been a full-time classroom teacher, only a substitute or adjunct.
Hickenlooper has endorsed her opponent, Democratic state Rep. Faith Winter, in this Adams County Seante seat.
